Rule 112
Conditions related to amendments:- (1) Amendments can be submitted to the Bill subject to the following conditions
:-
(a) be related to the subject of the Bill,
(b) should not be contrary to the principles contained in the Bill,
(c) not be vague or meaningless,
(d) The subject of the section which is sought to be amended should be related to that section,
(e) not be contrary to principles or decisions previously approved by the Assembly, and
(f) It should be clearly stated what kind of provision or wording is intended to be replaced by which provision or wording of which section of the bill.
(2) The Speaker shall have the right to accept, reject, amend any amendment subject to this rule or call the concerned member to correct it or integrate and approve more than one amendment of the same purpose.
